City Guest House

We had a lovely stay here last weekend. The owners were very accommodating with our arrival time when I contacted them (I realised I hadn’t read the check in time and 2pm was too early for us to get there, and luckily on that day they were able to adjust to our schedule). The room was clean and quiet (we backed on to the garden in the room we had), and the curtains were excellent at keeping light out! Breakfast was delicious (both for meat eaters and veggies). The owners kindly showed us to a parking spot which they had a permit for so we were able to park nearby, and they helped us in with our bags whilst we parked. The B&B is very central and it’s a short stroll into town. Would definitely stay again.

Great location in a quiet area just 10 minutes walk from the Minster and The Shambles.A very warm welcome on arrival , quick check in and shown to a very clean well decorated room. Plenty of hot drinks available in the room with biscuits and bottled water.A very comfortable double bed with a choice of six pillows to ensure a comfortable nights sleep .Hot shower with toiletries provided, Breakfast with good choice of cereals , fruit and yogurt and a hot and tasty full English breakfast...A very nice welcoming stay and would not hesitate to return ....

Our hosts were so welcoming and helpful. It was a joy staying there. The breakfasts were plentiful of choice and quality. We’d definitely go back there.

A lovely guesthouse within a short walk if York Minster Very helpful hosts and a full cook to order breakfast every morning. Would definitely stay again
