It’s history and location but stops at that

It was dirty, people vaping in the bar, loose dogs everywhere campsite on the ground so everyone from there were in the bar

Location was beautiful, country house was stunning. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Unfortunately the food was a bit of a let down, but the chef did have to leave due to a personal emergency. I believe food would have been better if the chef was on site.

the staff were lovely and breakfast great.felt like home from home.great peaceful location with good walks from door

all great apart from exceptionally squeaky bed,even if you just moved slightly.easily remedied with a tighten of bed joints no doubt,but still very comfortable
