We had a great stay at the Blacksmith Arms, food was lovely with great choice, staff were very accommodating and the atmosphere brilliant. The room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely visit again.

Last minute decision to stay here and we got the last room available. Quite easy to walk to from Brampton Station and close to plenty of nice walks. Staff helpful and friendly and accommodation good. Nice food too.

The staff were extremely friendly. We particularly liked the fact that our room had a proper bed for our son rather than a camp bed. The inn is in a quiet village with walks nearby and a short drive from Hadrian’s Wall. Food is typical pub food, fresh and simply cooked. It had a good children’s menu which meant our son was happy. It had everything we needed for our short break.
