Alma Lodge Guest House

Absolute gem of a guest house. The hosts were amazing couldn't do enough for us. The guest house was spotlessly clean and we had a great sleep. Not too far from anywhere when walking as well.

facile d'accès, hôte super gentille, chambre agréable, petit déjeuner très bien. Je recommande ce logement. Nous étions en famille 4 personnes et il y avait encore un lit de disponible dans la chambre. Parfait.

Le système pour l'eau chaude de la douche est original, mais cela fonctionne très bien lorsque vous avez compris le fonctionnement. Ce n'est donc pas un problème

The owners were so helpful. The rooms were lovely. What I saw of the property was clean and tidy.

Booking.com had double booked the room and Alma Lodge had no reference for our stay, so unfortunately I cannot comment on what the accommodation was like. I am still waiting to hear from booking.com to resolve the issue as I am now out of pocket

Very, very friendly, funny and helpfully hosts. Kerry gave us tips for sightseeing every morning, her cute mother Paula tried to learn some German words (and helped my husband with the luggage what we really didn't wanted).

I would have find it better to find different cereals for helping ourselves directly in the breakfast room. We also experienced it differently on our trip: jams, yoghurt, milk and cereals in the breakfast room, and everything else such as a "full English breakfast," porridge, or bread with salmon and a poached egg for example, could be ordered directly in the morning, without needing to specify what time you want to have breakfast. Of course, it’s easier to organise that way, and we can understand that. And to be fair: This is an accommodation with a very attractive price in a great location, and together with the warmhearted hosts, that’s the main thing!

Cooked breakfast well presented. Choice of cereals and toast.

It would be nice to have fruit and yogurt as an option.

The staff were lovely and very helpful! The property was clean and quiet in the evening. Had a lovely breakfast in the morning and would definitely recommend staying. We came back from a concert and it was only a 5 minute Uber from the centre/ pavilion.

Staff location and willingness for staff to be very very helpful.

Room was on the small size but still well fitted out.
