The Barrington Guest House Hotel

Had 2 nights stay at barrington guest house, Accommidation Location excellent 3 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the centre, hosts really friendly along with ben lovely friendly dog, definetely will return next year for longer stay, had a great few days.

Handy location close to harbour and town centre.

Claire, Steve & the dog (can’t remember his name) were very welcoming. Steve’s breaky was very tasty and the towels in the room were very soft and smelt lovely.😊

Very welcoming and Steve was a great tour guide would definitely stay again but in another room as the stairs to our room were a challenge. We wish Clare a speedy recovery x

What a lovely welcome we received from Clare & Steve the owners. Very friendly and helpful. Our room was just up the stairs and looked out onto the main street. Be warned though that to access this Guest House you have to climb some steps so no good if you have mobility problems. Our room was large and nicely devorated but sadly the bathroom was very small and had nowhere to put toiletries etc. We also found the room rather chilly even during the day. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and the duvet was super soft. Breakfast was cooked by Steve and that was delicious, plenty of it and cooked fresh. A lovely guest house but just one or two niggles but they said they had purchased the property next door which was being renovated so when that was finished they would start on the older side. So hopefully there will be more plug sockets near the bed, shelves to put toiletries on, waste baskets in the main room and extra heating if needed. I would most definitely stay there again and great score of 9/10
