Really nice stay very friendly will definitely book again next year

Claire and Steve are the most welcoming ang excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they would go out of their way to ensure your stay was as enjoyable as they could possibly make it. We went at the very end of the season for a little break, like a lot of people, because of covid and our own property renovations. The guest house is two old Georgian properties that have been tastefully converted. There are winding staircases, but remember the property is getting on for 400 years old. The one thing you will never forget are the extremely comfortable beds and luxurious sheets. If you can not manage all your plentiful breakfast have no fear. Ben the docile hound will happily eat all the leftovers.

Steve and Claire were very welcoming and couldn't do enough really. Shown to room, breakfast time agreed (full English with 2 of everything and delicious), informed about the parking (not too far away) and plenty of advise on where to visit. Room was superb, tea and coffee available, bottled water, flat screen tv with Netflix etc. Fridge and safe also available. bed was supper comfortable and mattress so thick you needed steps to climb onto the bed (literally). About a minutes walk from the beach and harbour and short walk to the north bay and other attractions. Would definately stay again if visiting Scarborough.

From the start of the booking Steve and Claire made us very welcome. I contacted them to seek out information to parking at the guest house and within the hour I had received a reply. On the way to Scarborough we got caught in a traffic jam that would have delayed our arrival. I rang the then to inform them that we would be later than the agreed check in time. Again they were more than understanding. When we did arrive they were there to greet us, we shown to our room. And wow what a room, the recently refurbished room was exceptional. The finish was amazing with all the small details that you would expect in a five star hotel. The bed was amazing with luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets and duvet. The room came with a mini fridge and safe which is well above what you would expect. The sockets next to the bed had USB charging points which again is amazing. The en-suite had the best shower I think I have ever come across. With a rainfall shower head that provided a wonderful experience and soft fluffy towels to dry yourself. The breakfast was of course a full English and again this did not fail to please. Freshly prepared for us with filtered coffee. This scrummy feast filled us up for the whole day. Steve and Claire made our visit one of the most enjoyable visits away. Steve went above and beyond what was expected when he washed my fleece which had become dirty on one of our walks around Scarborough.

Very comfortable, welcoming venue. Owners very accessible, helpful and friendly. Accommodation being update to a very high standard. Excellent location.

The guest house is run by a lovely couple. Very helpful, made you feel very welcome. The guest house is spotlessly clean, the breakfast was good, easily adaptable for veggie options. The guest house is perfectly located, short walk away from the beach. Street parking was available at no extra cost. Would definitely recommend the guest house and would stay there again.

Albeit the guest house is tired, it is clean and has a brilliant comfy bed! The proprietors are in the process of regenerating having almost finished the next door property which is amazing their intention is to start on the existing property as soon as they are able. It will be great when it is all completed. I wish them luck in their project. They are so nice and make you welcome they deserve to do well. Breakfast is great too! Their dog ‘Ben’ is a big fab softie!

Great hosts great breakfast and lots to do and see in Scarborough. Had an amazing few days.

Lovely find, great position. We stayed in the part which was not yet renovated,but when its done the standard of the done rooms it will be great. Still clean and well presented. Great hosts Great cooked breakfast, but would be nice to have a choice of cereals or fruit, maybe laid out in the adjoining room. Would also like some shelves and a bin in the bathroom
