The Woburn

Lovely big bed and spacious suite.

Workman hammering above our room at 8am constantly, like being on a building site. After half an hour , i went down to complain but the manager said there is nobody above our room just the roof. When we got outside it was evident they were repairing the roof. But 8am in a hotel when my mum who has dementia was woken to such loud constant noise was appalling. But seemed to be a mystery to the manager. It didn't take sherlock to work it out. We went to woburn for some much needed rest and quiet. Such a shame as I visit the hotel regularly. But was let down by inconsiderate roofers that the hotel should have delayed until at least 10 or 11am !!!!

Our breakfast was lovely, very enjoyable. Staff seemed stressed and unhappy.

We waited 45 minutes for our bill after requesting it numerous times. The service was that bad that I placed a complaint in writing that evening and I've still not heard back from them.
