Loved the location so close to town centre

I stayed in a room which must strain the definition of "room" to the limit it was so small. For E108 per night it was very overpriced. Friends who stayed on one of the top hotels in Salthill didn't pay as much. Finally, one of my friends got injured on the first of two days in Galway and I asked for a discount on the second night - NO, was the stern reply. Not a happy experience.

The property was very clean and the staff was friendly. The location was excellent and centralized within the city

When I arrived there, there was no room for us, once the hotel was fully booked. So we were sent to another hotel just in front, but even a “I am sorry” I heard.

Stayed in the usual place when heading down to Galway for the rugby. The breakfast had changed to a continental rather than the good old fry which I would have preferred. There was no water in the morning to shower etc, there had been a failure in the system that night but my stays there in the past have been pretty good, so willing to let that slide.

Off-street parking tight but convenient. Nervous arrival as no confirmation and strange check-in. Cleaner let us in but couldn’t register us. Left car, walked 5 minutes to town square -fantastic location. Friendly owners, weird only outdoor entrance through side-gate to room. Otherwise, a great Galway option if you’re okay with a tight space.

Excellent location very clean

Room was clean. Weather was cold so we found the room cold. There was a large pool of water/condensation on the window sil in the morning. Curtains could do with an upgrade. Headboard on double bed was "dodgy". Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We got very good value for a one night stay. Room was very small though with only room for a table on one side of bed. It really was more suitable for single occupancy but at the price was very good value!!
