Lynfield Guest House

The location perfect staff excellent Price perfect .but beds were not as comfortable as i had hoped mattress very hard .so might not get much sleep other than that nice place to stay

nice but, bathroom was dark we wanted dryer.... we had nice weekends.

My friends and I were able to book a room at the Lynfield Guest House the day of - which was great for convenience. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Cutest little place, incredibly close to city Center and even closer to train/bus station. Surrounded by great eats. The rooms/bathroom was extra clean. We were provided everything we needed for one night stay. Comfortable beds. 10/10 recommended.

Wasn’t thrilled with our initial room but then the host moved us to a nicer one. The husband and wife team were quite gracious.

Zero stars-don’t stay here! It was disgusting! I can honestly say it was the worst place I have ever stayed. The receptionist rushed us in and demanded payment right away. The room was nothing like the amazing room photos on hotels.com. The shower was mouldy, there were hairs on the floor, the sheets and towels were worn and stained and the mattresses were disgusting-all stains! The room was so cold I had to wear a hoodie in bed. I use hotels.com all the time and this place doesn’t live up to the usual standard of rooms in other places. On top of that it was a rip off at £98! I’m the morning I asked to speak to the owner but he wasn’t there and when I asked for a refund the girl said she was sorry but she couldn’t do anything about it. I was so annoyed and spent the night lying awake.

Nice bed and breakfast, travelling as group of four. Did not have breakfast. Room could do with some upgrades. Great for a short stay though. Easy walk to town.

Clean accommodations and friendly staff. We were there for one nite only on our trip.

Great location, bathroom was very small. We were on the first floor and people smoked right outside our window which was unfortunate.

The host and hostess were wonderful people. The location couldn't be better. They had a room that could accommodate 5 people, which is difficult to find. Clean. They responded very quickly to a drainage issue in the shower. I thought the price was steep, but I believe we were paying for location, which was indeed wonderful and within an easy walk to Eyre Square and the downtown area. If I did not have a car at my disposal, I would stay here again.

Me and my girlfriend had an unplanned change in accommodations which had us looking for a new stay every night in Galway. The staff at Lynfield where more than gracious and accommodating with our last minute needs. The rooms/restrooms where clean and the location is absolutely brilliant for anyone’s first stay in the bay. 10/10 would stay again and recommend.
