Woodland Bay Hotel

Everything about this stay was excellent in every way with regards to the rooms, facilities in the rooms, and staff.

The only thing that I would say could be better were the mattresses in both rooms were lumpy and seemed somewhat old.

Pricey clean, loved the facilities especially the pre-stocked continental breakfast. I had the best shower I’ve had in a hotel in a long time with crazy good water pressure! Would highly recommend.

Room was lovely. Lovely beach literally over the road. Breakfast provided was perfect.

Bit far out from town, too far to walk safely at night. Window lock was broken.

Great place to stay and unwind for a couple days. Do not miss the beach sunset across the street. Lovely staff and location to the town. My wife and I loved it as did our dog Roy!

There was an extensive selection for the continental breakfast. The room was spotless.

Decent size room.

(1) It is not a "hotel". There is no restaurant. It is more like a motel or self catering rooms. It is vastly overpriced for what it is . They leave some fruit/cereals etc in the room. (2) If you want dinner, you'll need to go into the town or phone a takeaway. If you're there on a Monday or Tuesday, options in town are limited. (3) It is right beside the main A-road to ferry terminal/ Northern Ireland. If you need to open the window, it can be loud. The night i was there was particularly warm, so had to open the window - and got hardly any sleep.
