Woodland Bay Hotel

The rooms were very comfortable and convenient

Fabulous room , well equipped

This hotel is confused. Its not a hotel in our opinion, it's a motel. No dining facilities or communal areas. Breakfast was fine but cold continental ready placed in your fridge. Take away menus and a well stocked kitchen provided but we opted to drive to eat as didn't want to sit on the bed to eat albeit a comfy one

Staff were first class. Clean, comfortable, breaky.

Lack of bar / restaurant was a bit disappointing.

Location is very good. We had a sea view room which was lovely and comfy. Microwave and oven to make yourself a meal, and fridge to keep everything cool. Nice supply of breakfast foods and plenty tea and coffee and bottled water. Staff were very nice.

Noise from lorries during the night going for the ferry.

We loved the location. We walked into Girvan and explored the area from there. Loved having some breakfast items available as well for the next morning. It’s so close to the ocean and lovely to explore when the tides go out!

No complaints whatsoever! There is a bit of traffic noise but we ran the fan and it didn’t bother us when we slept.
