"Entirely met my expectations- very comfortable stay"

Breakfast was perfect - good selection on offer. Location excellent, in the middle of Long Melford. I loved my room in a little house next door to the main pub and opening straight onto the street

Location is great. Easy to access good communication Plenty of tea/coffee Clean

It’s an old building so very chilly in the room especially bathroom I would take warm comfy clothes

"Disappointed"

The pub sign squeaked all night above the room window. There was no heating in the room , radiator on 5 and no heat from it so was freezing with temp outside at 0.

"Not cheap and not particularly cheerful. Town was pretty."

It was ok, old and cold.

A bright green fire exit light permanently on in our bedroom next to the bed - awful! It kept us awake all night. Ridiculously bright! Not necessary.
