Room comfy and big but could be a lot cleaner!!!

Had food in bar/restaurant. Food was inedible. Told the staff and she shrugged and said sorry and walked away. No compensation offered. We sat at a table with chips squashed into the carpet right beside us. Staff walked over it several times and not one attempted to clean it up. In the room we got one toilet roll for 3 people. We ran out but no one on reception and wasn’t about to ring an out of hours number for a roll of toilet roll. No other toiletries in room either.

Lovely staff, very clean room and ensuite, spacious and comfortable. The balcony was nice, it was really nice to sit out with a cuppa and a book.

It's not really a dislike just a note for anyone who needs a CPAP machine there was no plug sockets near the bed so I had to buy an extension cable the staff tried to help and did consider changing the bed and the room around but we all thought it would be too much trouble so I said I'd go and buy an extension cable. There are USB sockets only at either side of the bed for charging phones, the plug sockets are at the other side of the room for the kettle and hairdryer.

Have stayed here a few times in last couple of years visiting relatives in Area, ive had some great offers i like tge rooms with balcony 😀 nice to sit out of course weather permitting, and watch some of the budding golfers lol.The chap, who seems to do a lot in the hotel and is very pleasant and helpful to,deserves a mention

"A nice surprise"

Room was spacious and quiet. The wooded grounds surrounding the hotel are very nice for a walk. The clubhouse near the hotel is good for food and drinks.

Breakfast wasn't available on the Monday morning of our departure which was a bit disappointing, as the hotel is quite a way out of town.

"You get what you pay for but would stay again if there was soap!!"

I liked the park for the kids, my children absolutely loved it. The restaurant/bar was lovely and clean. They accommodated our requests and the room was big.

There was absolutely no soap...not anywhere, not in the room, not in the toilets in the bar area. We asked the reception and they said they had none. Just seems very unhygenic to have no soap at all.
