Annio Flats

Amazing location on the Caldera! And it didn't break the bank! Fira is bustling and Oia is overrun with cruise ship passengers. Imervigli is right in the middle, much quieter, right in front of Skaros Rock and a perfect spot for the sunsets. Unit was perfect for our needs and you cannot beat the views. I highly recommend this small apartment for your visit to Santorini. The owner, Georgia, and her son, were very helpful during our stay. They ordered meals to be delivered to our veranda and even presented us a bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. I'm not sure you can get a better view for the price ON THE CALDERA then Annio. Just remember that in order to get to most units on the caldera you will have to navigate steps. Lots of them. The price you pay for the views.

The hotel is a few steps away from the main road. You get the best view and best sunset on the island from your room and private balcony. The staff is very nice and very helpfull. Georgia (the owner) called to book restaurants for us and transportation to/from the port. Cute and cozy appartment style rooms. Great location near plenty of top rated and delicious restaurants. Loved the location and hotel, would definately go back again!

Going to Santorini is all about the views; seriously, it is. The Annio hotel is on the caldera side of the island and perfectly situated to see the best view possible. Scaros rock is literally straight down the stairs from the hotel and leads to some great photos and walks. The main pathway to Fira and Firostefani is also only about 30 steps away. You can't beat the location for touring this side of the island. A grocery store is at the top of the hill (100 feet?) and they sell a nice selection of wine and fresh fruits, veg, and bread. Since Annio is more of an apartment than hotel, you save so much money cooking your own meals each day, and dining out each meal is very expensive; save your money for the great wine by the bottle and enjoy the street cafe's instead. The hotel is quite roomy, air conditioning is always crisp and cold and the beds are quite comfortable. Deal with the part about not flushing the toilet paper; the entire island is like that. Old pipes...what can you do. Staff is genuinely friendly and took care of all our taxi reservations for us. Annio is only a fraction of the cost of other hotels with the same view, yet removed from the craziness of the cruise ships and tourists. Seriously people, you will not regret staying here; it's all about the views...and the wine of course.
