The Leathes Head Hotel

Beautiful quiet surroundings, did not like shoebox room understairs, room 9, or that you had to select breakfast the night before and only available from 8am.Still fair value.

I would recommend this place to any one going to Keswick! The staff where so nice and hospitable. It was outside of town but still close and a great walk into town if you like walking. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was great! Would for sure stay there again!

Lovely room overlooking the hills. Although I’m sure the dinner would be lovely, we felt the menu was very restricting.lovely breakfast. First night, bathroom towel rail was cold, therefore bathroom was very cold. Second morning, no hot water due to fault in boiler which was fixed while we were having breakfast. Apologies were given and reduction in our bill. Nice small hotel with very comfortable lounge and small bar.

A fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. The room was extremely comfortable and the welcome very warm. We dined at the hotel - the food was delicious and inventive and prepared to a very high standard. Would stay again.

Excellent hotel.. Beautiful setting, lovely views. Staff very helpful. Small hotel with delightful rooms. Log burner and comfortable seating in drawing room, lots of books about the area. Bird feeder by window in dining room, let you see a range of birds from nuthatch to woodpeckers.

Didn’t make up room - arrived back at 3pm after day walking and still not made up. “Hadn’t got round to it” Waiting on staff for breakfast very good. Unless going for Michelin star evening meal would go elsewhere to stay for the price/standard

We enjoyed our stay at The Leathes Head Hotel. The Hotel is a beautiful building in a fabulous location, and very quiet. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We would have preferred not to have pre-order breakfast, but that was just a personal thing.

Lovely all around. Excellent setting. Tasty breakfast.

Lovely warm welcome when we arrived around 9pm. I loved the views and our room was a good size. Breakfast was also good.
