First of all, it NOT on the beach. You must exit the property and either walk across the road for a beach view ONLY (it’s the fish dock). OR walk 400-500 paces for beach access. That being said, the staff were friendly and welcoming and food was good for dinner
Das Angebot des Table d'Hôte zeichnet das Hotel aus! Das Essen ist vorzüglich und der Gastgeber bereichert die Abende mit tollen Geschichten und Tipps. Hier wird man nicht abgezockt, sondern weitergeholfen! Mein Einzelzimmer war schön und hatte ein schönes Bad. Das Frühstück ist auch gut und bietet eine zufriedenstellende Auswahl. Ich war in der Nebensaison, weshalb es ruhiger und das Angebot eher eingeschränkt war. Das Wetter war nicht so gut, es hat häufig genieselt und tagsüber wehte ein frischer Wind. Trotzdem gibt es viel zu unternehmen und zu entdecken, wenn man sich darauf einlässt .

Lite slitet hotell, mycket bra personal, nära en av de bästa stränderna på ön! Supermarket och bankomat nära! Inte många restauranger på platsen men det går buss utanför, billigt att resa med denna och så även med taxi.
The room was a little small for a big guy like me. The staff was helpful and friendly. The beach is across the street, but nicer a little bit down the beach. Restaurants and bars close at hand.
Po pierwsze wspaniała właścicielka La Tonnelle, która wspierała mnie dobrym słowem podczas zagrożenia cyklonem:)) Będę ją zawsze miło, i jeszcze długo, wspominała! Bardzo dobre kolacje. Pokój skromny, ale dla mnie był w zupełności wystarczający. Dwie minuty od plaży, trzy minuty do marketu. Pół minuty od przystanku autobusowego:) Na miejscu restauracja, bar, małe spa, centrum nurkowe.Hotelik świetnie położony. "Trobiś" (bo tak ponoć czyta się nazwę miejscowości), to świetna lokalizacja, z piękną plażą! Bardzo mi się podobało!
La prima cosa che ti colpisce quando arrivi alla guesthouse La Tonelle e' la cordiale accoglienza dei proprietari . L' albergo si trova in ottima posizione nei pressi della spiaggia di Trou aux biches. La spiaggia piu' bella e' pero' quella di Mont Choisy che si trova a 3 km. Ritengo che questa posizione sia una delle migliori di quelle che ho visto a Mauritius. La camera assegnataci era ampia, pulita ed essenziale. Ci sono frigobar, aria condizionata, asciugacapelli, cassaforte e tv a schermo piatto ( No programmi italiani). Il WiFi e' gratuito ma un po' lento e instabile. L'ospitalità' e la gentilezza dei proprietari e di tutto il personale ne fanno un luogo da considerare per una bella e piacevole vacanza.
