La Tonnelle

Oikein kiva pieni hotelli, jossa ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hotellin uima-allas ei toki vastannut sitä mitä kuvissa. Taisi olla lähinnä sukeltajien harjoittelu käytössä. Aamiaisella oli kahvia, teetä, munakasta, jugurttia, leipää, muroja, juustoa ja hedelmiä. Tien toisella puolella meri ja uimarannalle alle 500 metriä. Supermarketti löytyy kävelymatkan päästä.

Wer Land und Leute kennen lernen möchte, ist im La Tonnelle saufgehoben. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber mit allem ausgerüstet was man braucht. Das Personal ist freundlich und Denis mit Veronique erfüllen, nach Möglichkeit, jeden Wunsch. Das Highlight des Tages war das gemeinsame Abendessen, zusammen mit allen anderen Gästen an der langen Tafel. Zu erwähnen ist auch, dass es vor Ort eine Tauchbasis gibt. Wir haben uns jedenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

The wi-fi was not as good as one could've hoped, but other than that a very pleasant hotel! Also on the premises is a wonderful dive center, and the closeness to this is absolutely a factor which is to consider if one is in Mauritius for diving!

A convenient base to explore the northern part of Mauritius, especially in a rental car. The beautiful beach is just 50m away.

Close proximity to beach is great. Dinner is only at 8pm which can be a bit late especially for families with children

I had a lovely stay after a busy few weeks so enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of La Tonnelle. The room is adequate not luxurious by any means but dinner is an experience, brush up on your French, and you will enjoy the conversation. Even if you don't know much French it is still enjoyable as you sit with all the guests and fabulous food and hospitality. Lovely beach closeby to watch the sunset and paddle.
