"Enjoyed it and would return."

Friendly husband and wife owners. Very helpfully allowed storage of our bikes in the hallway keeping them dry and safe. Very helpfully allowed us to eat a prepared evening meal in the dining room and store our food in their fridge.

It felt more personal than staying in a hotel We had a very comfortable twin room on the ground floor with an en-suite shower & toilet.

Great breakfast. Nice people. Spacious room. Decent location. Excellent parking.

Bed was really uncomfortable in both rooms. Really soft. When one moved, both moved big style and we just kept disturbing each other with every slight move. All 4 of us said the same thing and had poor night's sleep as a result. Sort the beds out and you have a great B&B.

What a great place to stay starting with a great welcome from lovely hosts! Immaculate accommodation throughout and genuine quality feel to the property. Plenty tea coffee and hot chocolate and lovely biscuits- thank you. Slept like a log mattress pillow and ambient temperature in the room perfect. Lovely large shower in Room 6 followed by fresh well cooked breakfast. All in all just a great place to stay .

Very warm welcome. Room was ready early as requested. Room was very clean, large and had excellent furnishings,very tastefully decorated. The property was well maintained. Breakfast was great with very good service. Nothing was too much trouble. The range of teas, coffees, milk and biscuits in the room was very good. Grea t location near to Dumfries town centre, and railway station.

"Great value for money"

Not too far from the centre with plenty of car parking. Large bedroom which was very clean and maintained It is an old house with feature furniture which we liked. The welcome was very friendly and the owners couldn’t do enough for you. There is a resident’s lounge area with breakfast section. You can use the fridge and microwave!
