Moor End Bed and Breakfast

Excellent B&B, great room, great service, really handy location for Durham. Would definitely book again if in the area.

Enjoyed our stay. B&b is about 10 mins out of town and regular bus service. There is a pub next door that served excellent food. It's on quite a busy road but we were at the back so wasn't too noisy. Room was comfortable and spacious. Plenty of tea and coffee. Decaff was provided on request. Breakfast was good.

A quaint place - very comfortable stay at Moor End B&B. Very welcoming and look after you well. Would recommend. Only downside - very poor wi fi connection.

We wanted a place to stay near to Durham city centre. Moor End is just less than 2 miles from Durham . There was sufficient parking around the back of the house . Our car was safe there and we caught bus . Bus stops are very close to B&B . Just a 10 minute ride. We spent most of our time in the city.We only used MoorEnd to sleep for one night and have breakfast . Felt homely. Rooms very warm. Martin the proprietrer was helpful, friendly. We paid at lower price range compared to others but were not disappointed . Lovely breakfast . Would use again

Very comfortable

We are non-drivers. We just needed somewhere to stay overnight on a Saturday in November, so that we could meet up in Durham city with our student godson. Our room was clean and comfortable, our host was friendly and helpful, and we had a good quality (ie good food well cooked - nothing cheapskate!), nicely presented breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere.

Comfortable accommodation at good price.owner very nice and helpful with directions and places to eat etc.

Cold room, cold shower, poor internet connection, dirty tea tray, uncomfortable mattress, and no desk. Staff and breakfast are nice.

Terriable room..beds not even attached to the headboard so your head & pillow was in the gap...plus the pillows were so thin even using two did not help; we had a terrible night. Bathroom shower had mold around it. I really think the host should spend a night in the room we had to see just how unpleasant it is..now, I do have to say, the breakfast was delicous. We were assigned the breakfast arrival time at 8:45 am...however, the host was upset we arrived at that time as the other guests had not finished their breakfast's......strange sutuation. I hate to give A negative review but I must say after spending $138 US dollars, I expected not to have such issues.
