Holly Trees Hotel

I booked this hotel as a rest bite during my travels and it was perfect. So quiet and peaceful. A good welcome, escorted to my room and helped with my baggage. Had to preorder breakfast, which I didn’t mind and the table was set for my personal order in the morning. Everything was cooked fresh once I was seated. I liked it so much I stayed for a second night.

The only thing I would recommend is update the kettle. Have one with a separate power base. Most places have these now. The downfall was me picking up the kettle to refill and forgetting it was hard wired, so the kettle yanked on the wire and water went all over the place.

Good location - reasonable distance from the motorway heading south. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

I very much disliked sheets made entirely from artificial fibres (polyester, presumably).

Great location. Large clean, comfortable room and well appointed. My only regret is I missed breakfast which I’ve heard from friends is of the highest quality and a highlight

Rooms facing front are quite near a busy room and if windows open (for cool) can be noisy

Good location. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Reasonable car parking. Really dog friendly. Special garden for our doggie and allowed into breakfast with us.

Comfortable beds & room ok & clean. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly owner.

Whole b&b needs modernisation.

Great Hotel / B&B, Friendly Host, Given Room as requested, Nice Breakfast / choice, all cooked how I requested. Location was ideal for my needs 👍 All Round.
