"A great stay with a pleasant host"

Breakfast was exellent good choice .Bed was comfortable . I wasn’t well and Dawn was really nice she even made me a flask up of ginger and Lemmon tea and gave me some extra teabags .

Dawn was an exceptional host, so friendly and catered to our needs! We were there for a wedding and she was kind enough to let us have breakfast an hour earlier than the usual time slot so we could make our hair appointment which was a great help. The breakfast was outstanding, the food was fresh and there was a variety to choose from. The location was amazing, the wedding was less than 3 minute walk (Gretna hall). We would always opt to stay here when we are in town! The rooms were spotless and a lot of care and attention was spent in providing guests with what they might need (toothbrushes, toothpaste etc). The communal areas were also spotless and the hotel had a lot of character and a homely feel. Would highly recommend. Can guarantee we will be back in the near future.

The four poster bed was a little creaky, but that was the only (very small) issue. But the bed was extremely comfortable.
