What an amazing hotel this was! We had a two bedroom with mini kitchen and ensuite. The kitchen had a bar fridge, toaster, microwave and sink with cutlery and dinnerware. Breakfast cereals were provided as was a jar of milk in the fridge along with marmalade and jam which was fantastic. All we needed to provide was some bread which we bought from Lidl around the corner. The beds were super comfortable and the shower nice and hot. The only bad thing was having to drag my super heavy suitcase up the stairs :) There was lots of food options just 10mins down the promenade and it was an easy 20min walk to the train station. This was the best hotel of our stay in the UK and we would definitely stay here again. It was more than I expected and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly.

A bit of a strange place. It is not really what I would consider a guest house, it is Airbnb-style apartments within a town house, with no communal area. The welcome was minimal and the "deluxe king room" that we booked turned out to be more like an apartment - not necessarily a bad thing, it was nice to have a table, kitchen sink, and spacious bathroom, but we were confused whether it was even the right place. Our room was incredibly dusty - the surfaces of the furniture and even the walls themselves were covered with visible dust, and there was thicker dust behind fittings/furniture. It is strange for something that seemed newly renovated to be at the same time so dusty, and for no-one else leaving reviews to have noticed (?!). The floor did not feel clean either, which gave me the feeling that the whole place probably wasn't cleaned very thoroughly. The bed was uncomfortable and the light coming from the window and from the microwave clock were also annoying. We stayed here for 1 night, reserved through booking.com, but for some obscure reason relating to a 'partner company', I cannot write a review on there.

Excellent apartment, clean and tidy, breakfast cereal, tea , coffee and milk all provided. Just a 10 minute walk to the town centre.

Staff willingness to change to a lower floor so we didn't have to climb too many stairs.

Comfortable and pretty renovated rooms. Lovely bathroom and luminous spaces.
