Duporth Guest House

We got bumped up to the 'apartment,' which has a full kitchen and dining area facing the ocean. The location is great, though it is a bit of a walk from the train station, especially if you have luggage. There is a bus station very close by, and a grocery about two blocks away.

In order to be truly functional, the kitchen needs some basic equipment, like oven mitts for cooking a frozen pizza, a covered dish for cooking vegetables in the microwave, and a serrated blade knife for cutting tomatoes. Drinking glasses were the most glaring absence: there were only three wine glasses, nothing else. That said, we made do with what we had, and the view from the dining table was wonderful.

Ideal range of cereals supplied in the room.

Great location, clean and bright room, with tea, coffee and cereal with milk provided. I’d definitely stay here again next time I come to Penzance.
