Lorna Doone House

We have stayed here a few times now and it’s always great. The owners are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was good and the rooms are clean. Great location for exploring Exmoor. We bought our 2 dogs and they are very dog friendly which we loved as that’s hard to find. Very reasonable rates too.

Beautiful location and a delightful stay. Well appointed rooms and substantial and well presented and cooked breakfast. Spotlessly clean with a fresh and newly decorated feeling throughout. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and we look forward to visiting again soon and hopefully for longer than the two nights on this occasion.

Clean, friendly, good food & perfect location to some great walks. If I was going to be picky, could do with a couple more electric sockets.

Excellent location, right outside fresh water stream, 5 min walk from harbor. Spotlessly clean and fresh. Excellent breakfast, mushrooms and poached egg to die for. Friendly hosts, going sailing next time 😀. Highly recommended.

Fab stay , nice clean b and b

Great B&B, friendly owners, good breakfast, clean, good shower, really nice view and sound of the river. Given the age of the building and nice original features, whilst not uber-luxury, Lorna Doone House is very good value for money. Useful that they have parking although we chose not to use it (you can buy 4 and 7 day passes for North Devon car parks).
