The Midland Hotel

Midland Hotel is ideal for visiting Leeds as only 11 mins by half hourly train service to centre of the city so eliminating city parking hassle/cost. Hotel was very reasonably priced , facilities and beds good , staff friendly and helpful and food basic and good value.

Breakfast coffee could be improved

The location was good and the room was quiet at night.

The shower was very difficult to get out of due to a narrow doorway and a steep, narrow step down to the bathroom floor. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Also, with pebbles covering the whole area in front of the doors to the accommodation, getting a wheelchair across was a nightmare. The breakfast consisted only of variations on the full English - no cereal, yoghurt, or anything else on offer. We were offered fruit juice on our second morning. Meals were served in the pub which had loud music blaring out all day.

Helpful and friendly staff, meet our expectations. Nice little antiques shop and other shops close by. Not far from Leeds town and good transport facilities closed by.

Wet carpet in the first room we were altercated, room was tiny, I would say just for one person not two. Staff very helpful when we had to move rooms. As we were travelling around the UK and we had came from Australia, there was not enough room for our large suitcases.

Small apartment right behind the pub was very convenient. Great bar and excellent breakfast served in the morning.

Room, was a little small and check out time was early at 10.00.
