The Midland Hotel

We booked the accommodation for my dad, he hasn't got a big appetite so he had the porridge. Myself and my husband joined him for breakfast, we had the eggs benedict which was delicious. Dad was given a sealed tub of porridge oats and hot milk to add. He ate it but said it would have been much nicer if made from scratch in the kitchen.

The staff made us very welcome and comfortable and were very accommodating and helpful.

No wifi signal in either of the family rooms, a massive down side when travelling for work

The staff were very efficient, polite and friendly The breakfast menu was excellent with very good selection and well presented

The outside areas could do with cleaning and tidying up to give a good first impression

Staff were friendly and attentive Room was warm, comfortable and clean. Good value for money.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, they all went above and beyond and were more than accommodating to any request. The food and facilities in general were really good and the price of food/drinks was more than reasonable.

The beds could’ve been a little comfier however they certainly weren’t uncomfortable by any means.
