Lovely large room and modern bathroom, perfect for 2 adults and our daughter. It’s in a beautiful village, with the added bonus of a local winery and 2 other pubs all within walking distance. Fantastic evening food - great menu and well priced.

This hotel is excellent so do not hesitate to book. It is in the sort of village that makes you want to move there . The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are lovely , spacious and clean. The food is superb. The walking around the village is excellent and the hotel is dog friendly. Everyone makes you feel welcome it really is a great place to stay !

Stayed one night in room 2 - all Modernised and very pleasant. Dinner in the pub amazing food, so glad we had booked as table otherwise we would have been very disappointed. Location in a picturesque village close to Totnes. Would definitely recommend and stay again if in the area.

I can absolutely recommend this hotel! It has just been decorated and we were impressed with the rooms, the cleanliness and the service. The staff are super-friendly, the shower is amazing, the super-king bed is really comfy, and the size is just right. We stayed for one night and booked a table for dinner. I recommend the trout and the plaice!! Rarely do I have such a good fish dinner. We will be coming back!! Highly recommend! It’s also only a 15 minute walk to Sharpnam Vineyard where we did a vine tour and booked a wine and cheese tasting. Superb!!
