Really nice room.. Huge bed. The village is very pretty and quaint. Only thing I didn't like.. the scrambled eggs for breakfast! Strangest ones I've ever had.. dry and crumbly ???

I had a wonderful stay at The Durrant arms, the owners were very helpful and welcoming. I had some lovely food in the pub and all the locals made me feel really welcome. As a single woman travelling on my own I felt very self and taken care of. The room was very comfortable and clean and the shower was amazing.

The Durant Arms is a friendly, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The staff are welcoming and unobtrusive. The only downside, if this is an issue for other guests, is that the bathrooms do need upgrading. I stayed in two out of the three rooms and both were noticeably tired and old, (viz dubious shower recess and constantly refilling toilet in one and only a handheld shower on the bath in the twin room). Other than that, it's a great place and I would stay again for sure.
