"A lovely retreat"

This was a very cozy and lovely boutique accomodation, perfect if you are skiing in Cardrona Alpine Resort as it is only 20 minutes away. Blyth and Ann were such great hosts and having Coco and Tui around added such a nice warm touch to the experience as well. The room (Kahurangi) were perfect for us and was super toasty with the heated blankets. Breakfast was great with pretty much everything you need to get your day started (fresh coffee, poached eggs, fresh fruits, avocados, bread, juices, cured meats, etc). I would highly recommend staying here to bring much needed peace and tranquility to your busy lives.

"Perfect stay with very nice hosts. I would happily stay here again."

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Nice breakfast served fresh every morning. Bed was very comfortable which was perfect after a day on the slopes. Perfectly located a 2 min drive from the drive up to Cardrona. Also very close to the general store and Cardrona Hotel.

"Fantastic location and hospitality"

I can’t say enough great things about this B&B and the incredibly gracious hosts, Ann and Blythe. They’ve thought of everything, from a delicious and varied breakfast to clean, well appointed rooms and a spacious living area to relax in after a hard days ski or hike. Truly one of the best homesteads I’ve ever visited. And you can’t beat the location right at the foot of Cardrona.

What a great experience in our own country stunning accommodation with great hosts we will be BACK. Lounge was amazingly warm. Shower was lovely and hot with a treat to have unfloor heating. Bed - best sleep on this trip. Breakfast was absolutely a treat was totally unexpected and set us up for the day. A MUST stay.

"Rest and relaxation in a tranquil setting."

The property was peaceful and well kept. Blyth and Anne were lovely hosts, attention to detail in every aspect. Waiorau homestead is unique property beautifully styled and comfortable. The hot tub was a bonus for looking at the stars. Breakfast is outstanding. We couldn't fault it and hope to return again.
