Incredibile place. So much care went into everything.

Location at the train depot was perfect for the night before our visit to Macchu picchu. Restaurant was good. Grounds and room beautiful. Be sure to read about the family who owns the hotel, very interesting! The hotel also booked our Macchu Pichu day trip and it ran so smoothly.

Wished we could stay another night.

Excellent location, just inside the Ollantaytambo train station complex, so you don’t need to walk back long to your hotel after a long and tiring day in Macchu Picchu. We liked the garden and the landscaping, also the design concept imside the rooms. The nostalgic atmosphere of the bar area is also nice. The decoration of the lobby is nice as well. Room and beds were comfortable, bathroom was big enough, minimalistic design. We didn’t have lunch or breakfast at the hotel, so no comment on this. But the paid sandwich service for the journey was a good idea and the sandwiches were tasty.

Everything was fine about the comfort in general. But the rooms do not have any facilities. Of course sometimes you hear the trains but it’s not that disturbing. The only thing I can complain about is the extremely commercialized behavior of the entire setup when it comes to any extra tourist services. I mean the staff were very helpful, excellent communication. It’s just everywhere the first thing pronounced is the price, a bit annoying. But our stay in overall was very good.

O hotel é estratégico pra quem vai pegar o trem cedo pra Águas calientes e curtir Machu Picchu. O Embarque no trem é literalmente na porta do hotel.

Pésimo servicio, hotel SOBREVALORADO, llegué al hotel y antes de hacer check in deseaba ver mi habitación para ver si cumplía mis expectativas y lo que había pagado y me dijeron que no era posible; cosa que me parece inaudita. La actitud y la atención de la persona que me recepciono fue pésima. Adicional, reservé mi estancia sin desayuno y al momento de pagar en recepción me estaban cobrando $30 USD por desayunos que nunca solicité. La relación precio vs beneficio o instalaciones está sobrevaloradisimo. Por ningún motivo lo recomiendo.

The setting is nice and charming, the location is practical, the staff is kind, but the ‘superior room’ was ridiculously expensive for what it was

The location, vibe, staff and restaurant are outstanding. We enjoyed the pachamanca lunch, organic garden, matacuy distillery, coffee and everything else about our stay. I would happily come again and recommend this to anyone.
