Staff are excellent, and rooms are lovely

parking can be a little squeezy but not a big problem

Location was great. Close To public transport and shops.

Quirky old style hotel.. think Fawlty Towers without the mayhem. Huge rooms, superbly maintained, traditional and no noise from next door. Also attached to an excellent pub.

It was a little hard to get in at 10am, we even thought it may be closed. Reception should be open earlier. Manager was a little formal, lacked warmth

The rooms are excellent and above a wonderful pub!

Location was great, staff were very friendly and overall the room was a decent size.

I didn’t like that our booking said it included parking but when asked the hotel said it was first in best dress and that they don’t have enough car parks to rooms ratio. Because of this we ensured to be there directly at check in to get a park but I believe the hotel should remove the parking included in the booking confirmations and advertisement as you may not actually get a car park then be left stuck trying to find where to park your car safely over night.

Location. Easy transport to and from the Australian Open.

It’s a bit dated. 1980’s’s style decor in need of an update. Bathrooms could do with a bit of modernizing.
