The location is beautiful and it is a very quiet and peaceful property (apart from the owner’s dog which barked constantly).

We arrived to be greeted by a lady who had almost no understanding of English, which made it very difficult when we explained that we were paying with a previously purchased voucher (on our last stay). We ended up having to talk to the owner via her mobile phone as he was not present. He informed us that our voucher which was the value of two nights stay in April this year, was in fact insufficient to cover the two nights we had booked, and for us to actually complete our stay we were charged several hundred more dollars. We were then placed in the least appealing of all the cabins, and charged further for firewood, which is understandable apart from the fact that our previous stays had included the first load of firewood. The cabin itself was ok to say the best, the bathroom was nowhere near as nice as the one in the cabin from our previous stay, just a shower over bath, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close, which was unfortunate as the toilet was located in the bathroom. The main bedroom was lacklustre and we ended up dragging the mattress out into the lounge room just because it was less depressing. The grounds are significantly run down, there’s been noticeable deterioration since April this year. Although the place has its certain charm with the “natural” feel, this has been outweighed by the obvious inability of the owner to keep up maintenance of the grounds and cabins. We were VERY disappointed with our stay and this had a negative impact on something that was supposed to be special for us as a couple. Would definitely not recommend this property to anyone, especially with the significant price hike and run down nature of the place.

The cottages are just lovely, well appointed, got everything you need, nice and cosy and comfortable.

Everything was great, was a lovely break that our family needed and enjoyed.

Location was okay, bed was comfy, cooling/heating system works well.

Place looks old and tired, can be doing with a good clean, fly nets in need of repair, main door fly screen does not stop the mosquitoes, too old. reception for the TV is terrible. Will not go there again.

Large cabin, with kitchen and bathroom. Close to Lakes Entrance. Comfortable bed.

First impression was a bit disappointing. The cottages an d surrounding areas seemed a little sad and in need of some tlc.

The self contained cabin was great for friends to share.

The staff didn’t give the full door code on check-in so we had to go back for help. Their lack of english speaking was a hindrance.
