Maryborough Motel and Conference Centre

Motel with Pool Cost us 87 dollars for one Queen and one single bed, room clean and good size, old air con unit. New friendly and helpful Owners. Located on the outskirts of Maryborough. Also has options for long term stays which seem really good value.

The room was what I expect considering what we paid. Room was clean, had a microwave toaster and coffee/tea facilities. The owner was very pleasant and helpfull

Basic budget but such a friendly welcome Rooms are a good size with plenty of bench space and very clean Not far off the highway nice quiet location

Great location, walk to so many food options including the tavern. Walk to the massive shopping centre. Slept well and will stay again

Good room, old air con, and lack of input from the owner! It was her son/ or family member, who served me. After waiting for 5mim before someone turned up! No communication from her, lax on any thing about breakfast. Lack of information on where the closet place for dinner! I had to drive to Hervey Bay to get something to eat! Not good enough after a long drive😠

My first impression was not great given the people and cars loitering around when we arrived. I also wasnt able to get in contact to let them know when we would be arriving. However as soon as we drove in a young man came and greeted us and checked us in efficiently and he was very friendly. We entered a room at the back of the property and while old it was spotlessly clean (and I'm VERY picky). The room was equipped with a small fridge, microwave and electric jug with all the usual coffee/tea condiments. The air-conditioner was already on so it was lovely and cool and fresh. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and equipped with lots of the standard toiletries. The windows were all screened and had blockout curtains. The room was very quiet, we didnt even hear other guests let alone street noise. For my liking the beds were a little hard but my husband liked it so its just personal preference. There is a Kids Corner with little playground equipment which my kids enjoyed, as well as the pool. When you look a little closer its obvious the managers are making an effort as there was lots of little additions to the gardens. It's an old style motel with drive-up rooms and the furnishings are retro but its spotlessly clean. It looks like there may be some long term residents there and some of the vehicles looked a little sketchy but I didnt hear anything from them and it didnt affect our stay at all. I would definitely choose this motel to stay if we were in the area again.

Location was good, beer was to expensive staff was very friendly and helpful

Easy access to town and highway. Pretty quiet. Breakfast was very good.

Basic motel nothing special free breakfast was on plastic throw away plates and bread for toast was frozen. Fan in room was dirty kettle caused fire alarm to go off and toilet did not flush properly.

Room was very old but clean. We were satisfied as it didn't cost much and we only stayed one night as we were just passing through.
