Excellent pub and rooms. Food fantastic. 'Chippy's' service and welcome first rate.

Booked 3 rooms which were all lovely and quirky, received call from Them few days before checking what time we would arrive etc and when we arrived we had a great welcome, lovely pub and only wished we could have stayed for supper as it looked delicious but we were going to a party in Devizes. Comfy beds and lovely breakfast. Would definitely stay again if in area.

Loved the room and all the little extras like lovely toiletries, complimentary good quality tea and coffee, fruit juices and chocolate bars. Evenining meal in the bar was very good great for fish lovers. Continental breakfast was good in a cozy room with real fire crackling away. Very relaxing and welcoming, if we are in the area again we will definitely head to the George and Dragon

The George and Dragon was a great find. We stayed just for one night while visiting family nearby. The room was immaculate and really nicely furnished and comfortable. All the team went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast, both of which were delicious and great value.....their extensive menu of fresh fish delivered that day is a bonus. We'll definitely stay again when in the area.

Great pub. Very nice staff. Room 2 doesn't have en-suite, it's down the corridor. Good food and nice peaceful break

A wonderful find - very clean and comfortable, some lovely touches like DVDs available and tea and coffee outside the rooms. Both the evening meal and breakfast were fantastic, as was the service. Exceptional value and I would recommend to anyone....
