The room is fine for the money.

Bed is a tad small, but it would be tricky to fit a larger one. My biggest gripe is the absence of a reception, which I was originally not even aware of. There was no phone number on their listing, and the one I found googling turned no longer be active. Even getting into the room was therefore a bit of a wild goose chase.

Location was ideal, only a few minutes walk to the cathedral, shops, and bars

There is NO reception. Perhaps I misunderstood but t’s not a normal hotel at all. There’s a lock box and we had to phone for a code. It’s like an unattended air bnb. No heat, and no response to a request for heat. Tiny TV. Manager/owner had accent difficult to understand on phone. Parking was available on property belonging to a school next door, but it was a long weekend. No idea what it would be like if school were in session. Other than phoning for the code there was no communication with management/owner.
