Super friendly staff!

Lovely location. Super beer garden with fine views. Excellent cheese board. Very good chef by reputation (though we didn’t dine). The pub was generally very clean - including bedroom and bathroom.

Bedrooms need a stylistic overhaul. There’s a confusing hotchpotch of design ideas. No seating in bedroom apart from bed(s). Some public areas are strangely cluttered.

The owners were great hosts - very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout

Charm of old building. Inclusive basic breakfast made it better value than expected. Everything necessary in room. Good shower. Good bed. Two very good dinners. Pleasant owners/staff. Super location to explore excellent motorcycling roads.

Furnishings in room did job but not particularly attractive. Nothing to chain my motorcycle to in the car park - a solid rail somewhere would be great for motorcycles and bicycles.

Nigel and Becks were super-friendly hosts... Great room, Lovely evening meal. Late breakfast by arrangement. Lots of tips and advice too!

The food was fantastic, and a perfect location so quiet and peaceful!

Slight lack of enthusiasm on arrival, the bathroom door didn't shut properly, breakfast was a disappointment....no cooked breakfast available,and offered 2 x types of cereal . We really just expected a bit more Which left us deflated.
