The Sydney Arms

Room was recently upgraded and was clean and tidy.

The bed, seems probably a King size on a double size base and was really uncomfortable. One of the reviews remarked on the breakfast, no breakfast, also very noisy at night, late closing and a main road to the front. TV small but ok except for the sound.

The beds were reasonably comfortable

The pub is on a road junction, we felt a bit ‘on view’ from the street below. The shower cubicle was very small and we had to hold the shower head to use it.

Short walk to both railway stations and town centre the owner of the hotel was very helpful

Room was comfortable and the staff and location were excellent

Bathroom was a little tired as you might expect in an old building

The beds was awful and windows needed a mesh curtain as I would have been exposed getting ready. Wifi unfortunately did not work during my stay
