The place was clean. A bit of a throwback, the rooms were dated, in the bathroom all we had those small round bars of soap wrapped in plastic and impossible to open + a very small container of shampoo. So it could do with bringing its ideas into the 21st Century!

Our first room had a "double" bed in it which was very small and uncomfortable for the first of the three nights. Given most of the rooms were left open during cleaning - from what we could see we had the smallest room and bed in the hotel. They agreed to change to a bigger room with two beds for the next two nights which was better.

This older hotel reminded us of the paradors in Spain. The location was perfect. Five minute walk to the historic centre. Ample parking.

The beds were quite hard. Road noise a little loud.
