Hotel Cala d'Or Playa

Lovely apartment, lovely pool, close to two amazing beaches and a short walk to shops and restaurants. Food and drinks at the apartments were also good.

Nothing not to like! For couples, just noting that the resort was very much geared to families, and there were a lot of toddlers and pre-school children there outside of school holidays. They were adorable and well-behaved, but might not be to everyone’s taste.

Lo que más nos gustó fue la piscina, los toboganes, la ubicación, la limpieza, el apartamento que es moderno o reformado y está bien decorado. Es fácil de aparcar.

Staff are lovely and friendly. Clean apartments in a great location. Good value for money. Kids pool is great for kids. kids club are such lovely people and they are very good at their jobs. Rooms cleaned all the time and lovely cleaners.

A few things. Price: your pool bar prices are off the charts!! Literally so expensive. Charging 12 50 for a non alcoholic cocktails and 12 50 for an alcoholic cocktail doesnt made sense. 4 50 for chips. 4 50 for a kids ice-cream. There have been many reviews about your pool bar prices yet you have done nothing to change them. Pool: lifeguards have different rules. One doesnt allow adults and kids down slide together and one does allow. One doesnt allow lilos in pool and one does. There is no consistency Kids club: staff are unbelievable. So friendly. They are caring down to even putting on the kids shoes but the budget needs to be increased to allow them to use it to the full potential. Kids disco and entertainment needs more funding. More storage needed in apartments. One wardrobe with no drawers is not enough for a family of 4 A note about the area itself. Its very very expensive. I have been to lanzarote and Portugal ij recent years and I cannot understand the prices in the area so do your research!

The hotel is close to the beach. For families is great, there is entertaining almost each night. The apartment had a great terrace an it was quite quiet as we got a room not facing the pool.

The apartment’s kitchen was a bit used. The furniture could use some improvements. Even thought the bed linen was impecabile, the blankets had a weird smell.

Muy buen apartamento...ampio y muy cerca de cuatro calas hermosas...tiene juegos acuaticos para niños y un restaurante economico....la gente de recepcion 10 puntos! super recomendable !

We stayed at Cala d'Or Playa last year and booked it straight away when we got home as we had loved it so much. It did not disappoint the second time round. The room was clean as was around the pool and bar/restaurang areas. The staff are friendly and work very hard and my youngest loved the entertainment crew and joined many of the activities and games. The slides are great fun for the kids and the main pool layout is great for all to enjoy. People do get io early to get the sunbeds they want but we always found we could get some. It's in a great location, just a short walk from 2 beaches and a nice stroll into Cala d'Or itself with all the bars and restaurants to choose from. The marina is beyond the town, perhaps about 20 mins walk but well worth a visit. Reception will call a taxi for you if asked. I would jighly recommend this hotel especially if you have children of primary school age.
