The Bear Of Rodborough Hotel

The hotel was lovely. The room was comfortable and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had everything in our room that we needed and some luxury extras, despite booking the classic room. The location was very good.

There was nothing not to like! And I thought about this question.

Got to hotel 1.45 asked if we could maybe use room for getting ready for going out, no chance room not ready till 3 , receptionist we thought could have helped us out a bit there.

Schönes altes Haus, typisch englisch halt ;) Frühstück war sehr gut, man konnte zwischen mehreren Optionen wählen. Bad war sauber und geräumig.

Wir waren an zwei extrem heißen Tagen da. Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn das Zimmer einen größeren Ventilator gehabt hätte. Der vorhandenen war sehr klein. Auch wäre es schön gewesen, wenn man alle Fester hätte öffnen können damit etwas Durchzug, gerade nachts entstanden wäre. Somit war es ziemlich warm in dem Zimmer.

Lack of air conditioning in a very hot room

The breakfast was excellent, if you required more toast etc. the staff were more than happy to help. As for our room, we were given a suite with a four poster bed, it really made our break very special. We had 2 evening meals in the hotel, they were very good, went to other restaurants for the evenings. The restaurant and bar staff were very friendly too. Would definitely visit again.

A faster wi-if is needed. The televisions were running on wi-fi and kept freezing the picture.
