Peermont Metcourt - Francistown

Übernachtung auf dem Weg von Pretoria nach Kasane. Dafür war es OK, für längeren Aufenthalt würde ich es nicht empfehlen.

Enjoyable

The Peermont advertised a queen bed but when I got there our choice was two twin beds side by side or a double bed. We took the double bed. There also was no secure parking area so I had to unload my car completely. The staff was helpful in unloading but we were on the third floor and so we had to carry everything up to our room.

Was a great hotel to stay at for a night stop over. The hotel staff were friendly and it was all we needed after a long days travel! :) very happy

I noticed that the door of my room, and several others in my corridor, had a 1 cm wide hole drilled through the door beside the lock. I don't know if that serves some legitimate purpose, but it also seemed to make it easy for someone from the outside to force up the handle on the inside, bypass the lock, and enter the room. If you find that your door is like this, I would suggest asking for another room.

Over all it was a nice experience and staff was helpful. Check in can be slow as there is typically one person running the front desk and phones. There was a mix up with what room we'd reserved, but it was quickly sorted out. This is one of the best options for the price in this area.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und das Zimmer war sehr schön. Essen kann man nebenan im Spurt. Das Hotel ist direkt im Zentrum von Francistown und ausgesprcohen modern. Die Zimmer angenehm groß und sehr hell.

The room and hotel in general was great but the service levels from the front desk were poor. No one answered phones, no one greeted or acknowledged you on entering. The night security are rude and not guest orientated. Two of the DSTV channels did not work and they only give you one hour of wifi per stay which is not reflected on their teardrop banner in the foyer.
