Harbor Pointe Inn Phl Airport

We did not have much breakfast as we left at 5:30 for our plane. The shuttle service was superb. Staff was very friendly.

More breakfast items out early, like fruit.

We thought this would be a convenient spot to spend the night close to the airport before an early morning flight. Seemed mostly clean, but the glaring bright lights from the place next door couldn’t be blocked out because the curtains in the room don’t close all the way. Good luck with the shuttle to try to get from the airport back to the hotel - it took an hour of waiting and multiple phone calls before we finally got picked up.

Pillows and bed were very uncomfortable. TV was awful small for today’s standard.

The front office staff was very nice every shift. The waterfront, and free parking. The cold part of the breakfast and the oatmeal. The coffee available 24/7 with creamer and good cups. My bed was comfortable.

The hot food, sausage and eggs was awful. The carpet in room was dirty and the chairs in the lobby, you need to throw all that furniture away. The outside and lobby. The ice machine was broken. If you didn't have the waterfront you guys would be closed. My room was a connector and I could hear everything all night. the walls are chipping and very dusty in there. I itched all night.

This property is outdated, but clean and has a very nice staff. It also has a complementary breakfast bar.

First, let me say that the desk manager was very polite and helpful. We checked in to our first room (101) but there were no lights or power. The second room smelled of a foul odor but we were tired so we did not complain. What infuriated us was that someone (housekeeping?) entered our room the next morning unannounced while my wife was dressing! Unbelievable! I am not a YELP guy but I will tell all my friends and family to keep away from the Holiday Inn Express in Essington!
