"Nice Hotel on the Devon / Cornwall border. "

We had a very pleasant experience indeed - friendly owners, easy parking, free WiFi, a big comfortable bed and a freshly cooked English breakfast. We would highly recommend The Tinhay Mill Guest House.

"Welcoming"

Passing through the area, stayed one night. Very welcoming, large comfortable room. Quiet. Breakfast was very good. Short walk to Lifton for evening meal at local pub - also very good. Wandered around the village and spotted the Lake.

"Lovely place for a bike trip."

Stayed for two nights for a motorbiking trip. Ideal location, central, plenty of popular sights and roads within reach. Lovely B&B, room had everything you could need. Nice flat car park to park the bike. Tasty breakfast. Owner was friendly and helpful with local info. Several pubs in the village to eat at. Would highly recommend Lydford Gorge nearby for a walk.

I've stayed here both for work and on holiday and have to say I absolutely love it! The hosts are lovely people and very accommodating (even found somewhere downstairs for me to plug in a portable freezer when carrying work samples!) The food is fantastic and the internet is quick, though there's not much mobile signal in the area. On a plus side, it's a lovely short walk down the road to Lifton for delicious food and drink after a long day.

"couldn't fault it"

Very warm welcome. Lots of space in bedroom. The bed was amazingly comfortable with no outside noise at night. The breakfast was wonderful, with all fresh ingredients. Over all a lovely stay. Suzanne is a great host. She took the time to chat to us and is so friendly. Will definitely go back.
