Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa

We had a group of around 50 friends at the resort and they could not do enough for us to make our stay so excellent. One person who made our stay amazing is Lai there was nothing that is too much trouble for her and the staff. We highly recommend this resort all the staff are amazing. Another fantastic time at Baan Chewang Beach Resort & Spa. Very relaxing and enjoyable time had by all of us. Great restaurant and staff, from check in to check out. Special mention about the service from Lai, Pui, Rhun, Chai and especially Mr Tum, who made us very welcomed again.

Spent 10 days here with a group of friends . Amazing spot right on the beautiful beach . Staff were great with a special mention to Lai. Only complaint was the TV only had Thai stations and Al Jazeer. No CNN BBC or in my case Aussie news . Great if you’re Thai but not many thais are guests ! Apart from that thoroughly recommend

Our first visit to this hotel with a large group of friends was absolutely amazing, the staff, from front desk, to hospitality to cleaners could not do enough for you. I would rate it 10 out of 10 for cleanliness, friendliness, and location. The beach is amazing and lovely white sand and at the front of the hotel you are 10 steps to shops, restaurants, money changers, delis and ATMs . Perfect location. We have booked again for next year.

We discovered this place several years ago after our regular hotel got demolished in Chaweng. It was a blessing! The location is great as the one way is easy to avoid if on a bike, set back from the road you hear NO road noise and the only noise we noticed was the planes flying over but that sort of become soothing and familiar. We didn't notice music from the Ark Bar but then we are out fairly late. The reception staff are long term which is nice as they are like family, a bit thanks to Rin our welcome man always smiling, Chai, Tik and Ice our key guardians and night watchers. The grounds are lush and well kept and the most friendly and polite gardeners. Plenty of shade even up at the beachfront. We stay in a ground floor superior room, it is spacious and clean and comfy bed, impeccable friendly cleaners. Shower was just right. For someone working on holiday a better light or desk lamp would be really helpful but this is something I struggle with most hotels in Thailand. I should have asked for one or got one from super cheap. This year the breakfast has improved a great deal, food is more topped up even near finish time at 10am. It was kept hot and a great selection. We were there in low season and it was busy!! 10.30am finish would be good as at 10am it is still super busy. Lai is always a welcome face to see at the restaurant. We ate at the restaurant a few times this year which is something we don't usually do, their menu is quite authentic with a good kick! They made Thai food for me that was not on the menu and it was perfect! The beach is perfect, loads of white clean sand, water is deep enough to swim and calm. To the left it is rocky outside Chaweng Garden and to the right a lot of jet skis so just the perfect spot. the pool is not huge but always super clean and good towel service (please respect this and the sunbeds). They have a fire show on the beach twice a week and I would rate it up there with other popular fire shows. I had laryngitis while there so it was hard for me to portray how happy I was with the place. and chat. FYI there is a fantastic doctors clinic just a few meters away that Mr Chai suggested, absolutely highly recommend this place (Samui Home Clinic). Samui has everything I could need, good doctor, dentist, hairdresser, hotel, people, food, weather, what more could you want. Thank you Baan Chaweng team for a wonderful stay again, we will be back for stay 8 next year. Until then stay well and happy and we wish you a good season. Please stay so we can see you all again. Great Resort at Chaweng beach, It is located between main road and the beach. The buildings and villas are well separated without the feeling of being tight, there are a small pool but you have the nice fine sand beach with sun bed !The Delux building ~30m from the beach with direct access, the room is quite large and well exposed. The water in front of hotel beach is deep so we can swim. Breakfast with varied choice, the coffee is good. We spend two wonderfull weeks there. Oh, the noise of planes, but we quickly forget it. The music of Arkbar at night is more annoying.

Great room right on the beach We were with 2 kids (5, 3 y) on Junior and the ability to be so close to the beach is great and lots of attractions around

Visited for Great dinner food was absolutely awesome let try Caramari the best Unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest for us as we were in back end of rainy season Staff Arun Super friendly and helpful!! Will be back on November
