"Friendly and relaxing stay"

8.0

We had a very pleasant and relaxing week in Levanto, staying at the Rosa dei Venti. No noise (apart from church bells, but that does not count), a most friendly welcome, great breakfasts, everything you might want within a few minutes walk. As many people have commented already, Room 5 is not huge, but it's big enough unless you wanted to stay there all day. The free and reliable WiFi access is a great bonus too. Would definitely recommend, and would be happy to go back soon!

"B&B style hotel close to beach and facilities"

8.0

Mama is very friendly but has absolutely no english so communication by charades. Location is convenient to beach, shops and restaurants but not close to station. Room is old style and basic but comfortable. Breakfast omelette is good.

"Great place to stay in Levanto!"

10.0

Rosanna and Marco were fabulous hosts! We were met by Rosanna upon arrival and welcomed like guests in her home. The breakfast was excellent as well with good breads, pastries, and an Italian omelet. The only negative was our room (number 5) was pretty small but as we were only staying one night, it suited our needs just fine. Would definitely book again.

"Simple, friendly B&B in a quiet location"

8.0

Rosa makes a stay at her place a stay to remember. She is friendly and enthusiastic and is complemented by her son who has better English skills. The rooms are very clean, even the quirky shell decorations. The breakfasts are unbelievable. I defy anyone to eat everything that is offered. Overall our stay was a very enjoyable experience.

"Quant little B&B"

10.0

It must be said we are not B&B people but Mama Rosa & Marco will make you feel extremely welcome in this lovely beach side town. The room was a good size, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was generous especially by Italian standard with a good variety. Location was close to the beach, shops and cafes/restaurants. The one thing to note is it location when arriving there, being down a limited traffic street (being foreign we didn’t want to drive down it) it took a bit to track down. But that was the only thing and would stay there again without hesitation. Thanks Mama Rosa

"Cinque Terre Adventure"

10.0

Excellent accommodations especially for a longer stay. We were there for five nights and felt very comfortable. Hot breakfast included. Rosanna and her son Marco run the 5 room B&B. Very clean and the best free Wi-Fi connection we had in Italy. The hotel location in Old Town was very convenient half a block from a Piazza del Popolo and easy walking distance to all dining locations. Would definitely stay here again.

"an Italian family affair"

10.0

We have booked this hotel to be a base for Cinque Terre boat trip. Hotel had parking space, and was so close to the beach and boat harbour, as well as shops and restaurants. The room we had was quite small and basic, we had 2 suitcases with us but could not open both at the same time. I had to tip toe to go around the bed as it was almost up against 3 walls. But it was comfortable enough room, and totally good value for money. The most precious thing about this hotel was how lovely the staff were there. The hotel is run by a young Italian man who speaks good English. Then there is his mum who is cooking and looking after customers like, well, a mother! Mum came around to us at breakfast, asking if we need anything, then offered us a nice parmigiano omelet, which was most welcomed by my partner who was missing Britsih cafe style eggs badly :) When we checked out and loading luggage onto our car rain started to fall heavily, all the while the car park was blocked off by a mysterious car who left a hazard light on but no driver in sight. Marco saw this and came out with his umbrella, then started knocking on every door in the neighbourhood trying to locate the driver. It took him a while and the driver finally dashed to the car to let us out. In our short stay this sea shell covered place certainly made an impression on us. No wonder this hotel has really good reviews! I would like to say a big thanks you to Marco and his Mum and the rest of people there xx

"Fine for what it is"

6.0

If you're looking for an easy base for Cinque Terre this is fine although pricey for what you get. 15 min walk to the train station to the Cinque Terre towns. Close to the beach in Levanto (a minute's walk). This is a B&B with "interesting" decoration. Room was basic but clean, fine if you're not planning to spend much time there.
