Excellent room, amazing bathroom and shower

Couldn't get a taxi into Keswick for the evening foe drinks

The room was decorated beautifully, the bar and lounge areas were also stylish

There wasn’t any atmosphere in the bar area and even before last orders (10.30pm), we felt a bit awkward as if the staff were trying to close up and wanted us to leave

Amazing location and lovely room. Staff were so friendly and the food was great. Couldn’t have asked for more.

The hotel was exceptional . The staff couldn’t do more for you ! The food was incredible , whoever the chef is needs a raise!! I have never stayed in a more beautiful hotel, and the setting is so peaceful I would return again and again! A little peace of heaven

Nothing everything was perfect

Everything was first class

Loved everything, the only thing I needed was air con, but that was purely down to the fact it was the hottest night of the year and was super humid. So, I can see why it's not a necessity given the lack of year round heat in the UK

Having stayed at this hotel many times over 20yrs I already knew the standard would be good.

At one time children under 16 were not allowed in the restaurant after 6pm so that other diners could have a quiet and relaxing evening meal. However it was half term and so perhaps it was to be expected.

location, cleaniliness

very expensive for the meals and breakfast. We paid £50 each for 2 course and we were still hungry afterwards. Drinks very expensive and not much atmosphere
