This forms the inspiration of the hotel design. To create a hotel that has exquisite touches and to inspire guests to pursue a dream of their own. The focus of this hotel is definitely its Victorian décor. Victorians loved statues, as it is a symbolism of romance. What would you expect from a hotel lift? I was quite surprised by the cute design on the lift door. But I was even more surprised by the décor inside the lift. A lounge chair inside the lift! Pretty! Unlike normal lift, this lift is really large. It has a huge extension at the back so as to fit the lounge chair. Victorian bedroom themed décor always bring us back to the era where kings and queens ruled the world. There was an attempt by Mirador hotel to design the room with Victorian theme. The walls were covered with pale yellow patterned wallpaper to add a sense of luxury in the room. To add a further touch of Victorian glitz and glamour to the room, there was an ornately designed mirror and a dresser table to bring forward the sense of royalty. However, I like to emphasis that this is really a basic hotel. Walls were really thin as we could hear families chatting with one another inside our room. Furthermore, the real fun of this hotel was the rooftop. The beauty of the rooftop stunned me. Apparently, it was often used as a backdrop for prewedding photoshoot. You get to have your breakfast at the rooftop. So that we were able to admire the décor, while having our meal. Breakfast was so good. You have a choice between Western or Chinese set. I love the condiments for the porridge.

The hotel put much effort in the interal decoration including the Sky-restaurant. The room is very clean and comfortable.

At first glance, I thought this hotel would not meet the standards of the photos posted online and for its price. However, once I met the staff and settled in, I instantly grew to like the place I was going to be resting in the next 2 nights/ 3 days. I highly recommend this hotel because its so near to all the places I wanted to check out- a local night market for cheap eats, shopping area with both inexpensive shops, and retail shops. This is also a ten minute walking trip to a high end department store shopping mall and near Central Park Station MRT which is located next a to really pretty park with fountains for people to run through. Getting to Cijin Beach was easy. I went by subway to the ferry dock. Everything you need is accessible and if you don't know where or how to get there or what to say, ask the staff!! They helped me get my hair done next door by writing what I wanted in Chinese for me. :D

The hotel staff is very helpful in advising our travel itnerary. The shopping district near Central Park MRT is 2 streets away.

Stayed 1 night. No complaints. The hair dryer was broken and they brought a new one to the room. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the 'garden restaurant' was very well decorated. Overall, the entire hotel was well decorated. Close to the MRT and one of the night markets.

Stay at the hotel was good.. bed and everything comfy.. service of the reception was extremely good and they also recommend places for us to visit... breakfast was provided during the stay, nice breakfast :) However, quite a walking distance from the mrt but is the nearest hotel.. nth much to complain... :)

Checked in yesterday and staying there now. In short, clean room with basic necessities in. Staff friendly and provided directions to simple enq. Only minus is a 12min walk from Central Park mrt. However, the service and decor of this place makes up for it!

All good. But breakfast can be better and 10 mins walk fm train station, a bit far. Still worth for price!

hotel easy to find, around 7 min walk from the station, foods places and market around the corner the only bad point was the breakfast, no choice and the congee severed was like water, need to improve on breakfast

I did have trouble sleeping the first night I guess it was due to the type of linen used. I wasn't comfortable staying on the 5th floor near the lift where you can hear people walking pass. Hotel is respectably clean.
