Mirador Hotel Kaohsiung

My family stayed in a quadruple room and it was very very spacious as compared to the double rooms we have seen on the same level. We had a sofa area, with a dressing table complete with a small wardrobe and a mini fridge.

Location is great, just beside Shinkuchan shopping district. Reception is friendly and helpful. Room is pretty small. The variety of food at level 5 restaurant is limited and not fantastic. Garden is a bit over-rated. Overall a nice experience

The location is a bit far from metro station, around 10-12 minutes walk but some small shopping mall around. All staffs there here were pretty friendly and helpful, gave me very useful information for where to go and to see. Another, it is not really suitable for budget traveller but what they provided was valuable. Around the hotel has just a few restaurant then they closed at late afternoon, not so many choice for eater. At breakfast time, they were limited staffs to serve if over 20 customers come together, so be patient^_^

I think some of the review is over-rating. The housekeeper doesn't clean the room too well - stain on the toilet seat between the lid and the seat, there was chunk of hair still attached to the shower head. The breakfast was pretty awful and everything is cold. We was woke up one day from the loud music in the morning that the receptionist have broadcast by mistake. I think they can do better for the money. However, location is convenience enough to the station and walking distance to a few busy area.

This non-smoking hotel is not near to the mrt, about a 10-15 mins to the hotel and you may have difficulty locating it too.Turn left upon exit from hotel and Shinchukan is about 2 side streets away which has the most fashionable clothing to me, compared to the night market at Kaisyuan or Liuhe. This hotel has a very nice lobby but the room especially the toilet is very standard though. Shower head is mounted too low too. Breakfast is good, but the garden outside needs more maintenance. Internet speed is good too. I requested for 2 extra pillows for my room but was told there was no more pillows. I would prefer a hotel nearer to the station for my future stay though I probably would not come back to Kaohsiung as the shopping is much better in Taipei. I booked my driver through this hotel. This driver only has one Nissan QR-V which I would not recommend you to book them if your group is big as the driver would not be able to confirm the vehicle if you do not book them for a few consecutive days. I got the 7 seater taxi for my transfer from the Zuoying THSR station to the hotel to the airport for the 5 of us which is very cramped, luckily we only have 3 big piece of big luggage and the distance is short. We insisted on the Nissan QR-V for our 2-way transfers to Kenting and luckily we managed to get it. They should not take big groups in my perspective if they do not have enough big vehicles, not a nice experience to me as they have assured me that the vehicle will be comfortable for the 5 of us with 5 big piece of luggage. The driver for the Nissan QR-V, Hong mama was a very nice lady though.

A tidy and elegant hotel, it is located on Main Street and near the MTR station. The shopping street nearby can buy young fashionable dress and there are some eating streets for tai wan beef noddle and meat soup so and so.

Just comeback from Kaohsiung and stay 2 days at this hotel. Situated in the heart of Kaohsiung , 10 mins walk from Central Park MRT station , 5 mins walk to Liouho night market & shopping district. Will definetely choose Mirador should i ever visit Kaohsiung again.

I told my 4yo daughter that we were going to stay at a princess hotel and she believes it! Very prettily decorated hotel and nice room. Clean too. The hotel staff are quite helpful although they don't help to carry the luggages up to the room for u. They have a super nice elevator and the breakfast is awesome! Great hotel and I enjoy my stay there.:)

Near the buzzing street of central park shopping area. The hotel is designed in a Western style with many ceramic angel figurines. The breakfast , though not buffet style , it was filling. The service at the front desk was great , they provide information in great details on how to get to the destinations upon requested.

Our Son booked us into the Mirador Hotel for 8 nights during our recent visit. Excellent choice, close to MRT at Central park, good local shops and restaurants. Night market nearby. Staff very helpful and some spoke good English. Room was comfortable, clean and with good complimentary items. We chose the Western breakfast which was well presented but not necessarily recognisable as such. Limited wardrobe space but as we checked out of the hotel for several touring days away it was not a problem. Hotel stored our main luggage whilst we toured which was helpful. Would recommend a stay at this hotel.
