Vallegrande Nature Resort by Geocharme

We finished a couple of weeks in Sicily by staying here one night. We arrived as early as we could and left next day after lunch. It was the perfect way to close a holiday (probably also to start it). Super nice people, amazing food, just pure relax embedded in nature

The hotel is beautiful, 15 minutes away (by car) Cefalu’s center and up in the mountain. A great choice if you are looking for relax away the rush of the city center. Also staff (specially the waiters) was friendly and solved quickly a problem with our stay without charging us anything.

Schedules are a bit tight (e.g the restaurant closed at 23 and we had to hurry and leave) and you cant stay at the pool after you checked out.

We are on a 2 week Europe vacation. This was exciting what we needed. Quite/ peaceful/ a bit of a break. Lunch and dinner were great and the same price if we were to eat in town. Breakfast was great had everything and more The drive is nerve racking but better then the almafi coast!!! Lol. Really a place to relax after a busy travelling week!

The place is amazing. Felt a really good deal for a price. Breakfast was 10/10, never tasted better humus in my life! :) pool super clean, pool bar also amazing, food fresh, drinks delicious, views very instagrameable. Room clean, smelled amazing, nothing to add. Recommend this resort as itself destination to relax, we also took massages which were very soft and helping to relax.

Keep in mind that you will be living in nature, with mosquitoes, geckos and other animals which might visit but honestly it gave only a good vibes for us :) Also the road into the resort is narrow and could be an issue for a bad driver especially if you will want to eat something else than resort restaurant food for dinner.

Very peaceful location to relax and unwind, high in the mountain above Cefalu. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great.

Room was adequate but suffered a little for style over substance with low lighting, and the only mirror being in the bathroom. There was also nowhere to hang towels other than in the shower.

Very nice hotel on top of the mountain. The complex could not be more beautiful, the pool is great, it’s a gem in the nature. Good breakfast, decent restaurant, supportive and friendly staff. Extra animal bonus - a young fox is living on the premises 🦊

Rooms are poorly soundproof to a degree that you would not expect it on such a level of hotel. The beds are super creaky, every light movement creates a sound which leads to a very unrelaxing sleep. This is weird compared to the rest of the nicely designed interior of the rooms. Plus you need to be aware that this hotel is in the middle of nature on top of a mountain. You need to drive with a car to go somewhere - Cefalù is a 20’ drive away.

It’s located in a natural resort, with beautiful landscape and high altitude. The swimming pool is the highlight. Ma daughter loves it so much. The reception is so nice and helpful.

It’s not convenient without car. If you want to experience there, please do rent a car.
