Hotel Europeo

I spent a week at the HE in May 2016. The atmosphere is just great! Coming from NY it was really like finding peace in between the trees, the pool and the birds. Service was also great, people were always very nice and helpful. My room was ok, nothing fancy but I would say that certainly good price for value. And they were also about to start a renovation of all bedrooms soon, I think that will make it just perfect! I highly recommend it!

Very peaceful, poolside room, excellent buffet breakfast. Taxi driver had great difficulty finding this hotel.

Hotel Europeo isn't a great hotel especially for the price. The staff was not very friendly and the rooms...meh. This hotel is overpriced and I wouldn't stay there again. We took the hotel taxi to the airport and of course the driver conveniently didn't have change for the already overpriced ride. For probably ~$10 more you can stay at Hotel Camino Real. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Downtown Managua but with a beautiful swimming pool and garden area, this 3 stars hotel is just comfortable enough to get a good rest and connected with the spirit of the country. The restaurant in a Rancho is an incredible place to have a full breakfast or lunch Nica style. I strongly recommend this hotel that overall has a social mission.

it is a basic hotel in a capital city. On Saturdays, they run parties in the open area at the center of the hotel. Music blasts, no break at all.. they say it will go on till mid night, if it goes beyond that, ask the party to lower the music... could not sleep, let alone that I could not even do any work from the room... if possible, avoid using this hotel

Nice hotel, with pool and courtyard. On site restaurant was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Managua is not worth more than a day to visit and see. Or skip it and go straight to Granada

I liked this hotel with it nice yard, swimming pool and outdoor restaurant. I had a room in the so called new part, with a small balcony towards the garden, where I was working very relaxed on my Notebook, with view into the garden. I hadn't slept that well as in Europeo since days.

I didn't like Managua that much but this hotel was really nice sanctuary in the city. Courtyards pool area was nice and breakfast and rooms good. Nice place to just chill at pool. Hotel receptionist spoke good English and they had reliable taxi service.

We were thrilled with our experience at this hotel. While the rooms are a little worn and have a musty smell, everything else was absolutely perfect. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. The pool area was very relaxing with plenty of umbrella tables and lounge chairs. The bar and restaurant is located just steps from the rooms in a lovely courtyard and the food was excellent. While the area around the hotel has little to recommend it, the nearby blocks felt perfectly safe and the staff called cabs for us to get to other sites quickly.

The room is clean but dark, not enough natural light, air conditioning worked fine, furniture and equipment are old, linnens and towes were a little bit worn, painting with stains / peeling , needs renovation. Staff is courteous and efficient. Brealkfast was included, good taste but it was basiccally the same every day, althoug wit thee option for a fuit plate instead of gallopinto (fried rice and beans) and scrambled eggs.
